Kendriya Vidyalaya SAP is situated in SAP Camp, Peroorkada , Trivandrum, Kerala. The Vidyalaya is situated 6 km away from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway station and 1.5 km away from Sasthamangalam Junction. Though our Vidyalaya is situated within the city limits, it is in a green beautiful campus with tall shady trees all around. It is away from din and bustle of the city.

This Vidyalaya came into existence on 15 ^th June 2007 It is a three section school having a strength of 1288 (as on 30.07.12) students with classes from I to X. This Vidyalaya mainly caters to the needs of the wards of the Police personnel/ CentralGovt Employees. The peaceful environment and conducive atmosphere provides ample scope for the all round development of the children.

CHANGE OF SCHOOL UNIFORM
On the Eve of KVS Golden Jubilee Year, KVS is proposing a change to its present student uniform. The new uniform would come into effect probably from the Aacademic Session 2012-13 in July.
Class I : Parents are requested not to get their wards' uniforms made till the uniform is finalised. Students of class I may attend the Vidyalaya in civil dress.
